Virtual & Hybrid Congresses Platform

ERA leads the way to efficient event management applications for Congress Organisers and Meeting Planners by incorporating a new cloud software system.

Since March 2018 we back our operations using EventsAIR by Centium Software which is a cloud solution designed for event organizers who want to manage events more efficiently. It is built on the powerful and scalable Microsoft Azure cloud environment, and offers the industry’s highest level of security and productivity.


Designed by meeting planners who understand the challenges of event management, EventsAIR offers tools and processes that let us work smarter and more efficiently. The system incorporates also the OnAIR Portal, a central hub where all virtual event programming takes place.

OnAIR provides your attendees, exhibitors and presenters with a single, simple to use platform allowing them to access a variety of virtual programming, such as presentations, one to one meetings, virtual poster sessions, virtual networking sessions, ad-hoc meetings between attendees and virtual exhibitions.

The OnAIR portal knows whether an exhibitor, presenter or attendee has logged in and provides the correct view of the timeline and other options appropriate to the attendee type who has logged in.


The need for continuous training and dissemination of scientific knowledge is, now, more than ever, indispensable as new methods and technologies emerge daily. Large Scale Event
The 1st Virtual – 34th Hellenic Society of Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery Congress was held from 7 to 10 July 2020. In total 1300 participants, 22 sponsors and exhibitors, 75 Greek and foreign speakers actively participated at the congress. Four broadcast studios in Athens and Thessaloniki were configured with professional equipment to deliver image and sound quality like the one you can experience on TV peer shows.

Multi class training course
ERA, in collaboration with the Greek Vitreo-Retinal Society (GVRS), organized recently a series of 12 educational Webinars on retinal pathology. Attendees from Greece and abroad, actively participated through live text Questions and by answering e-Questionnaires to obtain CME credits from accreditation entities.
