Athens will be among the candidates for the best destinations in Europe for 2017.

The online voting is organised by a site dedicated to promoting European tourism Europeanbestdestinations.com. Athens had come in second in last season’s voting for the continent’s 20 best place to visit. It is the 8th year in a row that people will vote for their favourite choice in Europe.
