The 1st Virtual – 34th Hellenic Society of Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery Congress (H.S.I.O.I.R.S.), was successfully completed!

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenge for congress organizers around the world. ERA has managed to adapt and to react immediately to the new conditions by adopting the most advanced technological solutions in the field of virtual and hybrid congresses organization, securing high quality level of service to its customers.

In collaboration with the H.S.I.O.I.R.S.., board of directors who showed absolute confidence in our company, we managed to organize the first fully virtual congress of that size in Greece.
The congress was held from 7 to 10 July 2020, gathering 1300 participants, 22 sponsors and exhibitors, 75 Greek and foreign speakers and during broadcast 4 studios in Athens and Thessaloniki were used.

The ERA team, working continuously during the preparation but also during the congress, offered guidance and support to both speakers and participants, ensuring the smooth flow of the program.
