The 37th edition of the IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE 2021), the flagship conference for designing, building, managing, and evaluating advanced data-intensive systems and applications, has been completed with absolute success, bringing together researchers, professionals, developers and users to explore innovative ideas and exchange techniques, tools and experience.

The production of the conference which lasted 4 days and consisted of 26 hours of scientific program, in 6 parallel virtual rooms, required 24 hours of rehearsals, a team consisting of 11 technicians, 16 volunteers and of course ERA’s team which for once again proved that it can cope with online events, no matter how demanding they are!
